Kansas Day

Each year, in January, schools across Kansas celebrate KANSAS DAY in commemoration of the birthday of our state on January 29, 1861 when Kansas become the 34th state in the Union.

BBCC hosts themed programs for schools grades K-8. 

Oakley Corn Festival

Second weekend of October – Open to the public – Activities for the whole family.  The festival features the annual Kansas State Cornhusking Contest on Saturday – New huskers welcome!
